Carl Fisk Hints of Americana, just the right amount of instrumental chops, and smart songwriting support the fact that Ian has an absolutely fantastic voice! Gorgeous stuff that doesn't come off as too quaint or, at the other end of the spectrum, forced. Just enough of everything. I might even call it pleasantly midwestern, if that's a thing.

I'm pleased to report that they do indeed sound this good live as well; even indulging in a few swelling improvisational sections that very much add to the vibe. Favorite track: Kandinsky.
